The Corporation

Tricorn was created by alumni of the Colonial Williamsburg Fifes and Drums.

Tricorn was incorporated in Virginia on August 28, 2006.  To review our Certificate of Good Standing from the Virginia State Corporation Commission [click here].  We are publicly supported and we have received the IRS designation as a 501(c)(3) charitable organization.  To review our IRS designation letter, [click here].

The Foundation also is registered with the Virginia Department of Agriculture and Consumer Affairs and a financial statement is available from the Department's Office of Consumer Affairs.

Three trustees oversee the Foundation with management vested in its officers and Advisory Board.  The current Drum Major of the Corps also serves as an advisor to the Foundation and several committees help with specific tasks.  Past Musick Masters of the Corps serve as honorary Emeritus of the Foundation.
